In this video, Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), shared her views on Operation Sindoor. She is a two-term MP, first elected in 2019 & for the second time in 2024. Speaking at a conference titled “Decoding Operation Sindoor: New Normal, New Doctrine,” in New Delhi on July 23, 2025, Ms Sarangi underlined overwhelming national unity in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack and stressed on the urgent need to transcend differences to tackle the scourge of cross-border terrorism. “Operation Sindoor should have happened post the Mumbai attacks in 2008,” Ms Sarangi said. The conference, organised by the Centre for Global India Insights (CGII), a think tank focused on international affairs, was moderated by Manish Chand, CEO, CGII.
