In this video, Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO, US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), shares his optimism about the potential upswing in India-US economic ties under the second Trump presidency. Speaking at a conference titled “The Trump Card: India’s Choices & Strategy,” Mr Aghi pitched for fast-tracking negotiations for a bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and batted for an intra-Quad FTA. “If you don’t want a direct trade agreement, let’s focus on doing an FTA between the four Quad countries and create a common market,” he said. He was speaking at an online conference titled, The Trump Card: India’s Choices & Strategy,” hosted by Centre for Global India Insights (CGII), a think tank focused on global affairs, and India Writes Network.
