In his remarks at the conference on “G20@20: Africa’s Moment,” Manish Chand, CEO Centre for Global India Insights, speaks about the growing relevance of G20 in a world riven by crises and outlines the importance of the Global South in the G20 agenda at the summit in Johannesburg

“In a deeply polarized world, four Ps dominate international discourse – Poly-crisis, paranoia, polarisation and perplexity. We need to find a new vocabulary of optimism and renewal to navigate this complex and conflicted world, and this is where the G20 summit in Johannesburg matters,” he says. The conference, held on November 12 at IIC, New Delhi, was organized by Centre for Global India Insights, in partnership with South Africa’s High Commission in New Delhi
